Meet The Band

Troy Miller has played in various bands and also performed as a solo looper pedal artist over the years.

Troy had taught himself how to play guitar and has always played by ear. Troy has had influences ranging from Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Jack Johnson, Ray Lamontagne to various blues, southern rock and classic rock sounds.

Troy also plays a cigar box guitar, a cajon drum and harmonica. Troy builds guitars on some of his time off. So far has built his own cigar box guitar, his own electric guitar made from an old Beer Crate and is now building a high end Acoustic guitar. 

When not playing music Troy works as a Captain with the Fire dept and can be found traveling to Surf Breaks around the world to Surf.

Lorenzo was born and raised in Welland. Working during the day and professional musician by evening. Starting off as a drummer earlier on and eventually learning guitar and bass at an early age has helped shape Lorenzo's talents.

 

Lorenzo has a deep musical passion that runs in his family.  He's played in the local band scene for many years and has even joined his brothers on stage hammering the GTA rock scene. Music is a passion for Lorenzo with many of his rock mentors evident in his playing style.  Whether it is the Beatles, the Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin or originals - you're sure to enjoy Lorenzo laying down the back beat and getting the funk out.

Mario is a "GTA refugee" having moved from Vaughan ("the city above Toronto") to Niagara-On-The-Lake in June 2016.  He's been playing guitar since he was 7 years old when his older brother taught him how to play "Wipeout".  At the time, his hands were too small, so he had to put the guitar on his lap a la Jeff Healey and play the lick with his thumb!  

 

Growing up, his musical influences were his older brother Tony, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Al DiMeola and Stevie Ray Vaughan.  Since high school, he's been gigging around the GTA and Ontario with bands including Xenon, The Double Blues Brothers, General Panic and the Privates, Drive and Desire, Night Life, Phil 'n' The Blanks, Rockitship 7, and The Dee Gees.

Frank is proud to call Welland home, the city he was born and raised in.  He comes from a family with a variety of musical talent.  His late father emigrated from Italy as an established Trumpet player who was a well respected member of the music community in the Niagara area since the 1960s.   Growing up with this musical influence in the house played a key role in Frank becoming a musician.

In 1979 at the age of 11 he received his first set of Stewart drums and the musical journey began.  Although he’s had many musical inspirations throughout this time, Frank prides his “time-keeping” ability as a self-taught drummer.
